Author Quotes

The story of Love is the story of Love of Self.

Time has come for a change and any day it could happen. One person, two people, whatever-- they'll all come out when they realize that their money is going to go to killing and war. Everyone is aware. One does not have to describe too much about it.

We are born only to bless, not to punish. This you should never forget. We should always see good things in others - very important. We are not in a position to criticize anyone. The existence of enemies means for us that our friendliness has not been sufficient enough. 'God helps those who help themselves.' - it's a very true saying. We are aware of darkness but for our own community we want to have Enlightenment.

What comes out indicates what one has inside. It just tells the structure of the heart. If one doesn't speak ill of others it means he has a pure heart. If wrong is stored, the heart is not pure. Speaking ill of others means first transplant the wrong of his heart to our heart, to our mind, and then let that seed grow to a tree. The whole process is damaging to evolution. We never think ill of others. If sonmeone does wrong, why bring it to our heart and make it impure. 'Birds of a feather flock together'. If filth deposited in heart, it will collect and then whatever flocks together flies out.

With the practice of deep meditation (Transcendental Meditation) the mind contacts the Bliss Consciousness of the Spirit and becomes more peaceful, happy, creative and powerful. This state of mind enriches all values of material life.

The time is for anyone alive today to either participate and be in the light of peace, or the other way. We don't have to describe the other way. This is everyone's responsibility because everyone's life is one's own life.

TM in the a.m. and the p.m... 20 minutes in the bank, all day in the market place.

We are not in a position to criticize anyone. The existence of enemies means for us that our friendliness has not been sufficient enough.

What makes one luckier is the good that he has done to others. It comes back to him. A man doesn't become lucky by doing wrong. He becomes lucky because he has done good to others and that good comes back to him. And now he is lucky.

You are the master of all the laws of nature if you know the transcendental field.

The TM-Sidhi practices give us a habit; they create a habit in us to function from the least excited state of consciousness, which is the field of all possibilities. And functioning from the field of all possibilities means we materialize our desires quickly.

To produce a good, harmonious and healthy atmosphere . . . it is necessary that man live in happiness, peace, and abundance

We are not responding to this instant if we are judging any aspect of it.

What others think of us is not our concern - it is their concern... It is important only that we radiate life. Every individual must be a joy to himself, to his family and to his society.

You may not always have an ocean of bliss, but think that way anyway and it will help it come.

The whole effect of activity is to enrich the feeling of the other.

To resolve problems through negotiation is a very childish approach.

We are not responding to this instant, if we are judging any aspect of it. The ego looks for what to criticize. This always involves comparing with the past. But love looks upon the world peacefully and accepts. The ego searches for short comings and weaknesses. Love watches for any sign of strength. It sees how far each one has come, and not how far he has to go. How simple it is to love, and exhausting it is always to find fault, for every time we see a fault we think something needs to be done about it. Love knows that nothing is ever needed but more love. It is what we all do with our hearts that affects others most deeply. It is not the movements of our body or the words within our minds that transmit love. We love from heart to heart.

What we have been saying from the beginning of the Movement has been unbelievable but it has come to be believed. We have been impossible right from the beginning and we must continue to be impossible because we are raising a voice against suffering which has been considered to be the nature of life. It is our joy to be considered impossible - and it is our greater joy to make the impossible a living reality.

The philosophy of life is this: Life is not a struggle, not a tension... Life is bliss. It is eternal wisdom, eternal existence.

The world has witnessed the rise and fall of monarchy, the rise and fall of dictatorship, the rise and fall of feudalism, the rise and fall of communism, and the rise of democracy; and now we are witnessing the fall of democracy... the theme of the evolution of life continues, sweeping away with it all that does not blossom into perfection.

Transcendental experience awakens? divinity in man. And when you kill a man you deprive him of that birthright of his. [

We are not satisfied with peace alone. There has to be prosperity, there has to be affluence, there has to be fulfillment in life, not just peace.

What we have done, the result of that comes to us whenever it comes, either today, tomorrow, hundred years later, hundred lives later, whatever, whatever. And so, it's our own karma. That is why that philosophy in every religion: Killing is sin. Killing is sin in every religion.

The Pope, of course, will never be happy with the violence on earth.
