Author Quotes

Watch existence.

Whatever you feel, you become. It is your responsibility.

When you talk through the heart is no need for any language when you speak of your head can only language to express what she says.

The church is calling to sanity, to understanding, to love. It does not believe in violent solutions. The church believes in only one violence, that of Christ, who was nailed to the cross. That is how today's gospel reading shows him, taking upon himself all the violence of hatred and misunderstanding, so that we humans might forgive one another, love one another, feel ourselves brothers and sisters.

The real question is not whether life exists after death. The real question is whether you are alive before death.

There is no blissfulness more precious than freedom, than being a master of your own destiny

Those who are courageous, go headlong. They search all opportunities of danger. Their life philosophy is not that of insurance companies. Their life philosophy is that of a mountain climber, a glider, a surfer. And not only in the outside seas they surf; they surf in their innermost seas. And not only on the outside they climb Alps and Himalayas; they seek inner peaks. But remember one thing: never forget the art of risking? never, never. Always remain capable of risking. Wherever you can find an opportunity to risk, never miss it, and you will never be a loser. Risk is the only guarantee for being truly alive.

We accomplish in our lifetime only a tiny fraction of the magnificent enterprise that is God's work. Nothing we do is complete, which is a way of saying that the kingdom always lies beyond us. No statement says all that could be said. No prayer fully expresses our faith. No confession brings perfection. No pastoral visit brings wholeness. No program accomplishes the church's mission. No set of goals and objectives includes everything.

Whatsoever you are doing?be double-arrowed.

When you want to love God, you have to be without mask. You have to drop all deceptions. You have to be authentically whatsoever you are; to be choiceless, whatsoever you are. In that primal innocence, God descends.

The church must suffer for speaking the truth, for pointing out sin, for uprooting sin. No one wants to have a sore spot touched, and therefore a society with so many sores twitches when someone has the courage to touch it and say: You have to treat that. You have to get rid of that. Believe in Christ. Be converted.

The stronger a person's "I" is, the smaller his capacity to become one with anybody. The "I" is a wall in between; it proclaims itself. Its proclaimation is : "You are you and I am I. There is a distance between the two." Then no matter how much "I" love you, "I" may embrace you to my bosom, still we are two. No matter how closely we meet, still there is a gap in between - I am me and you are you. That is why even the most intimate experiences fail to bring people close. Bodies sit close to each other but the persons remain far away. As long as there is the "I" inside the sense of "the other" cannot be destroyed.

There is no god, so how can I consider myself a god? God is the greatest lie invented by man.

To avoid pain, they avoid pleasure. To avoid death, they avoid life.

We are all different expressions of one reality, different songs of one singer, different dances of one dancer, different paintings ? but the painter is one.

When do you cut a piece of wood to build a bungalow, cottage forget. Piece of wood sawdust dryer.

The Church of the Paschal Mystery.

The tantra masters are simply wild flowers, they have everything in them.

There is no need of any competition with anybody. U R yourself, and as U R, U R perfectly good. Accept yourself.

To be an individual in this world, we need huge courage.

We are formed by what we do. It is our actions that ultimately make us. What we do slowly, slowly becomes the creator of our lives and our souls. What we are doing in life decides how we are creating ourselves. What our behavior is in life decides the directions our soul will travel, the paths it will move on, the new worlds it will explore.

When I am gone I hope there may still be courageous people in the world to criticize me, so that I don't become a hindrance on anybody's path. And those who will criticize me will not be my enemies; neither am I the enemy of those whom I have criticized. The working of the enlightened masters just has to be understood.

The dance of the flower in the wind, in the sun, in the rain, cannot be understood by the head; the heart has to be open for it.

The tongue never slips ? remember this always. What goes on within the mind comes invariably on the tongue.

There is no one lonelier than God!
