Author Quotes

The road to God-realization is long. Sometimes, while walking along the road you will see beautiful trees with foliage, flowers and fruits. Sometimes you will see that there is only a road, without any beautiful scenery. Sometimes you may feel that you are on an endless road through a barren desert, and that the goal is impossibly far away. But you cannot give up walking just because the distance seems far, or because you are tired and have no inspiration. You have to be a divine soldier and march on bravely and untiringly. Each day you will travel another mile, and by taking one step at a time eventually you will reach your goal. At that time you will definitely feel that it was worth the struggle.

There is no fundamental difference between one and another, because each religion embodies the ultimate Truth. Each religion is right, absolutely right, because each religion conveys the message of Truth in its own way.

To come back to the secret of inner peace, our questioning and doubting mind is always wanting in peace. Our loving and dedicated heart is always flooded with inner peace.

Truth is in all, but love is all.

What is joy? It is a bird that we all want to catch. It is the same bird that we all love to see flying.

Each thought has power of its own. Positive thought has a power and negative thought also has a power. With positive power we build; with negative power we break. Each positive thought is creation and each negative thought is destruction.

First of all, let us try to know what love is. If love means to possess someone or something, then that is not real love, not pure love. If loves means to give oneself, to become one with everything and everyone, then that is real love. Real love is total oneness with the object loved and with the Possessor of love.

God-realization or siddhi means Self-discovery in the highest sense of the term. One consciously realizes his oneness with God. As long as the seeker remains in ignorance, he will feel that God is somebody else who has infinite Power, while he, the seeker, is the feeblest person on earth. But the moment he realizes God, he comes to know that he and God are absolutely one in both the inner and the outer life. God-realization means one’s identification with one’s absolute highest Self.

Hope knows no fear. Hope dares to blossom even inside the abysmal abyss. Hope secretly feeds and strengthens promise.

I did not come into the world To prove anything. I came into the world To love everyone And everything.

I simply do what many dream of. I simply do what others talk about. I simply become what others dare not even to imagine.

If we know the divine art of concentration, if we know the divine art of meditation, if we know the divine art of contemplation, easily and consciously we can unite the inner world and the outer world.

In between your failure-tree and your triumph-tree, the tree that is growing is known as your patience-tree.

Judge nothing, you will be happy. Forgive everything, you will be happier. Love everything, you will be happiest.

Love is not a thing to understand. Love is not a thing to feel. Love is not a thing to give and receive. Love is a thing only to become and eternally be.

Meditation is man's self-awakening and God's Self-Offering. When man's self-awakening and God's Self-Offering meet together man becomes immortal in the inner world and God becomes fulfilled in the outer world.

Music is the fragrance of the Soul. Music is the perfection of the aspiring heart.

My service to humanity is my real opportunity to prove my genuine love for God and God alone.

Not to give up under any circumstances should be the motto of our life: we shall try again and again, and we are bound to succeed. There will be obstacles, but we have to defy them. So do not give up, do not give up! Continue, continue! The goal is ahead of you. If you do not give up, you are bound to reach your destined goal.

One who has an inferiority complex can never be really humble, but can only have false modesty or false humility.

Peace is something tangible. It silences the outgoing energy of the mind and feeds the aspiring heart. Peace is not merely the absence of quarreling and fighting. True peace is not affected by the roaring of the world, outer or inner. This sea of peace is at our command if we practice the spiritual life.

Run and become. Become and run. Run to succeed in the outer world. Become to proceed in the inner world.

Soul-filled music does have the capacity to wash away the dust from the human mind.

The excruciating pangs and universal pathos of music is the beauty of the earth-heart. The transcendental music of liberating Light and immortalising Delight is the beauty of the Heaven-Soul.

The soul teaches the body never to accept any limitation.
