When things don?t add up, either you don?t have a calculator or you forgot to use commonsense by simply asking.
When you forget yesterday and embrace the new vision of what you are to become through the eyes of your best friend, you have found a new sister standing by the open door that was once closed in your heart.
When you really want something, you will give up a million times, but your heart keeps taking you back to the starting line.
Who gets to be the judge of reality? If it was deeply felt, believed, spoken about often or altered your life course, then it was real enough. Faith doesn't get the luxury of all those things one hundred percent of the time, but we call that normal behavior based on a gut feeling. I said. I looked at his wife and she busted out laughing. Her husband was trying to catch invisible butterflies above his head?dementia. My patients teach me the most sobering of truths: Why wreck his smile. If I could see them, I would want to catch them too.
You are going to do some really stupid and mean things in the name of love. Don?t be so hard on yourself when things don?t turn out. You are a good person that loved deeply. Anybody worth having will know that hurting someone is not showing someone who you really are. You?re a sensitive person that showed the depth of your love, by the depth of your pain. Fairytale love will show you only one face. Real love will show you as many faces as it takes to get you to see how much that person really wanted you in their life.
You can't be creative without criticism. If your life is without critics then maybe you are painting your life's masterpiece with only a broken brown crayon.
You know there is something wrong when your religion tells you to stay home and watch the kids and all you want to do is rescue people in the forest. Listen to God. Go find the people lost in the forest. Your religion should not dictate the life mission of a woman?s heart. Hire a babysitter then go do what God has been telling to you to do. It?s really that simple.
You will never see things as they are; you will only see things as you are.
Your religion is not what you do on Sunday. It is how you live Monday through Saturday.
When we want to see someone in a certain way, we find a way, but when we don't we have to wake up and see who they truly are and not what our pain or anger chooses to believe.
When you forgive those that hurt you, they no longer have control over your future happiness. Their anger keeps them a prisoner to your past, while you enjoy the present.
When you see people only as personalities, rather than souls with life missions to fulfill, you forever limit the growth and possibilities of what God has in store for another person.
Who would you impress if the world was blind?
You are not what others think you are. You are what God knows you are.
You can't be tempted, unless you want what is tempting you.
You know you are on the right spiritual track when you realize that doing the right thing is not something you should do; rather, it is something you want to do. It is even something you have to do for your own peace, and the well-being of others.
You won't change anything significant in the world if you try to be like it. Change comes when you do something different.
Your strength will be found when you stop struggling with yourself, instead of thinking everyone is a struggle worth overcoming. Every obstacle in life is a lesson that teaches us, not others.
When what you value and dream about doesn?t match the life you are living, you have pain.
When you get it, give it away and you will always keep it forever.~(knowledge)
When you settle for anything short of the best life God wants to offer you, then you have been tempted to remain safe and the accountability for not changing your life becomes your prison of regret.
Why do women waste their time trying to convince their insecure family members and girlfriends that they are beautiful? Self-esteem is not a beauty cream that you can rub all over them and see instant results. Instead, convince them they are not stupid. Every intelligent woman knows outward beauty is a nip, tuck, chemical peel or diet away. If you don't like it, fix it.
You are only earning the life you get when your inaction allows people to decide for you.
You can't fight hatred with hatred and expect anyone to listen to you. You can only try to lessen it with humor, wit, truth and commonsense. If that doesn't work run like hell, while they throw rocks at you.
You know you have found your life mission when you say, I dare you to try and take this away from me.
