You have to have more than hope to get what you want in life.

You will never find the real truth among people that are insecure or have egos to protect. Truth over time becomes either guarded or twisted as their perspective changes. it changes with the seasons of their shame, love, hope or pride.

Your love life is insignificant when it comes to raising your children to be respectable human beings. The moment you see them suffer or lower their standards because of your selfishness, is the day you should realize that nothing matters more than them. You are not just the queen or king of your fairy tale. The real story of your life is the gift of time God gave you with them.

When you don?t have honesty in love then there is no communication. Honesty is improvisation of the heart; anything less is a well thought out and rehearsed script.

When you meet a dark angel don't you ever for one minute believe they are bad because they have faced the worst demons and lived to guide you through yours. It really isn't an easy job they have been asked to do, but then neither was standing on the front line during the war in heaven.

Or, you can break down the walls of pride by accepting vulnerability as a strength, not a weakness. As you walk through your vulnerability, you will meet humility on the way to courage. When you find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stand in front of you when other?s cast stones, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who will hold your hand when you?re sick, who thinks you?re pretty without makeup, the one who turns to his friends and say, ?that?s her?, the one that would bear your rejection because losing you means losing his will to live, who kisses you when you screw up, watches the stars and names one for you and will hold and rock that baby for hours so you can sleep?..you marry him all over again.

When you only know your faults and failures, you allow yourself and others to downgrade your dreams and belittle your wants.

While you were busy trying to prove God stands behind you, God was before me lighting the trail, so he could lead us both.

Writing romantic fiction is the second chance that loved ones denied us.

You cannot become a peacemaker without communication. Silence is a passive aggressive grenade thrown by insecure people that want war, but they don't want the accountability of starting it.

You knew...and that is why it hurts so bad.

You will never know the moon or stars, unless you breathe in their solar system and inspect it from many diverse vantage points as possible.
